Here we have one of our friendly skip lorry drivers delivering to another happy customer - we can't help but think repositioning the chains looks an awful lot like the YMCA!

At Brianplant we strongly believe in giving back to the community - especially at this time of year - so we are proud to say that our donation not only helps one, but two charities, in their mission.
Every year we donate a giant stuffed animal to St Andrews Hospice (a local hospice that not only caters for adults but has a specialist Childrens branch) in an effort to raise vital funds for an amazing cause.
The cuddly toy is obtained through an auction at another charity event dedicated to people injured within the construction industry.
This year we bid on this adorable Harley the Husky (who joined us for a day at the office) - and we are sure he will make plenty of people smile!

As frequent road users in North East Lincolnshire we have been working alongside two big companies to restore some of our busiest roads. Rotating our HGV drivers, to ensure everyone gets the required rest periods, we've been setting out on an evening to begin the vital work on the roads. Our lorries have been working closely with the planer and as a result we've obtained a fantastic pile of Road Planings which now reside in our Grimsby Depot ready for re-sale. If you are interested in purchasing any of our planings please call us on 01472 341499 (option 2) as when they are gone, they are gone, and they never last long!...

The latest addition to the Brianplant Fleet a new CAT 950 GC loading shovel. We always believe in revamping and replacing our machinery on a regular basis to ensure our operations run as smoothly, and as safely as possible. With this in mind we bid a fond farewell to our existing loading shovel and welcome this beauty at our Limestone Quarry site in Kirton-in-Lindsey. ...

Well…. what can we say!
The Brianplant team were proud to take part in what is well renowned locally as being one of the most, if not THE MOST fun races in the running calendar-The Caistor Sting in the Tail 10k 2019.
Those that know Caistor will know that is is FAR from flat. And after a relatively flat first 8 kilometres, the STING comes in the form a final gruelling 2 kilometres of relentless hills which are more suited to a mountain goat than a human!
But it is the phenomenal support at the heart of this race which is what inspired and encouraged every runner up all up those hills and what makes this race so unique and special.
The Caistor community come out in full force- the route is lined with residents out in their gardens cheering and playing music, and the market place is alive with buzzing activity creating an electric carnival atmosphere like no other race.
This positive community spirit supports every single runner from the first to the last to cross the line, and Brianplant were once again very happy to support this special race in 2019.
Brianplant brought it’s 8 wheel grab lorry and excavator to create a unique arch in the market place which the runners ran through. Many races have an inflatable arch but there’s not many with an arch like this one!
Clive, Dean and Sophie were very happy with their times and even more delighted to receive a well earnt beer and a sausage bun at the end.
Roll on next year!!...

This year, for the first time, Brianplant entered a Soap Box into the Humber Bridge Soap Box Derby.
It was a fantastic event and saw 30 teams entering soap boxes of varying shapes and sizes. Our Soap Box, who was affectionately named "Diggy" the Digger, was a huge success coming a respectable 6th out of 30 over the course of 6 runs. The event which was in support of the Hey Smile Foundation http://heysmilefoundation.org/ raised so much awareness for the charity and a great day was had by the Brianplant Team.
